What are the faults that non-standard automation equipment may encounter during application?
With the continuous improvement of technology and production processes, there are also more and more fields using non-standard automation equipment. However, there are still some problems with non-standard automation equipment at present, mainly due to external factors and the equipment itself.
From the perspective of the causes of faults, there are hard faults and soft faults, and both types of faults can also exist simultaneously; In addition, faults can be divided into static faults and dynamic faults. Static faults are relatively easy to observe and eliminate. It seems that non-standard automation equipment may malfunction.
1. Power supply malfunction
This type of fault is a static fault. The occurrence of such faults is mostly caused by open circuits, misconnections, or poor contacts in the power or ground wires. Of course, it is also possible that the input voltage of the equipment or circuit board components exceeds the allowable deviation range, or the output voltage of the power components themselves exceeds the allowable deviation range due to circuit faults.
2. Passive components malfunction
This situation is mainly caused by open circuit of capacitors, loose and falling end caps of resistors, and changes in resistance values. If the resistance value changes, it may cause fuzzy logic values. If the capacitance value changes, it may lead to poor decoupling, changes in oscillator frequency, and equipment such as motors that cannot be started.
3. Poor decoupling of power supply
This problem usually occurs when the interference waveform overlaps with the normal waveform. Large capacity filtering capacitors and ceramic capacitors with excellent high-frequency performance can be used to prevent these interferences.
In addition to the above faults, there may also be software design faults, equipment design faults, and poor contacts. It is difficult to avoid faults in non-standard automation equipment, but it is necessary to identify the cause of the problem, find methods to improve or prevent it, and the faults of non-standard automation equipment during operation will become increasingly rare.
